Comment for this energyscan:
Anion efficiency curves of selected anions measured with a commercial sector field mass spectrometer equipped with a Nier-type ion source. The width of the electron energy distribution is about 0.7 eV and the electron current was set to 50 muA. As far as O–is concerned, the high energy resonances between 6 and 12 eV are contributions from the background signal formed upon DEA to water, whilst the lowest resonance at about 2.2 eV is due to background signal from an unknown contamination present in the vacuum chamber.
